Over 300 people attended a celebration of the festival of Dashain in October at the Rugby Club for a buffet dinner and entertained with traditional Nepalese music and dancing , The evening raised funds for the mini/junior sections of the club, which will be used to buy training tops for the children.
Balti Curries owner Hem said, “It is wonderful to be involved with Falmouth rugby club and with the kindness & generosity of my staff we are delighted to be able to support the club in this way and we are planning another evening to be held at the club when we will build on this support".
Jade said “We had a fantastic evening, with so many people from all over the community and I consider it an absolute pleasure that Hem and team are now helping with our sponsorship to provide kit for our thriving mini and junior teams”.
