It is with great regret and sadness that due to the current National lockdown Falmouth Rugby Club will be complying with the Government and Rugby Football Unions guidance and is effectively closed with the Club following the RFU Road Map to Rugby at Stage A (image below). This means the Clubhouse, the Ground and all the club facilities are currently closed to all. It, unfortunately, means that the playing surface, the surrounding grass areas, and all playing facilities are not to be used for any activity. This is regrettable but will allow the pitch to recover from the recent very poor weather meaning it will be in pristine condition when the Club reopens in the future.

The Club will continue to function in the background and there is a team of volunteers working hard to look after the welfare of our players and members, and you will see the Club’s premises being used to support the wider community (COVID Testing, School Immunisation programme etc). The intent is to give regular updates of how the Club is doing and how the planning for our reopening is shaping up every two weeks or so during this period – please look out for them.

Finally, the Club would like to thank all for their support, both past and present, and look forward to opening the Rec with full vigour in the future.

The futures bright, the future’s black and White.

Stay home, stay safe, save lives.

Best regards,

The Falmouth RFC Team
